Trips don't always go as planned. After spending several days failing to find our target snake species, this more commonly encountered species came across our path. Many times common sights are overlooked in the search for rare oddities, and that is shame. I've made a conscious effort to avoid this pitfall and decided to finally give this species the credit it's due. Just because a species is common doesn't mean it shouldn't command your attention.
