Marcus Westberg

I'm a photojournalist and writer (and, sometimes, adventurer) focusing on all kinds of topics related to our connection with the natural world, and with each other, in one way or another. My usual place of work is sub-Saharan Africa, where topics might range from human-wildlife conflict mitigation to climate change research, though during the pandemic I have largely been working to expose and highlight unsustainable forestry practices - clear-cutting of old-growth forests - in my native Sweden together with fellow Fellow Staffan Widstrand.
