With 120+ Fellows, based in 26 countries and working in 190 countries, our conservation impact has a global reach. They shine a light on issues ranging from endangered flora and fauna to climate change to ocean health. 

What is Conservation Photography and Filmmaking?

In a visually-based society, conservation photography and filmmaking harnesses the power of storytelling to further conservation goals. These stories shed light on environmental and cultural issues, solutions, and efforts; with the goal of making a positive change in the Anthropocene.

"Naturalista Isleño" Premiered in Dominican Republic

Eladio Fernandez

After 4 years, Eladio Fernandez finally released "Naturalista Isleño" (Island Naturalist) on November 16th. This is a 4 part documentary series that covers his conservation photography work with new species of pipe vines, endemic island magnolias, Ridgway's hawk, and the humpback whales of the Silver Bank. The series is produced by Jake Kheel and co-directed by Freddy A. Ginebra. The producers are currently seeking distribution and the series will start making the film festival rounds.
